December 17, 2011 Holiday Concert at Frontenac Plaza

December 11, 2011 Winter/Holiday Concert

Kirby Ann Kay performed Vivaldi's "Winter" from the Four Seasons.

November 5, 2011 Business Expo at Frontenac Plaza
sponsored by the Town & Country/Frontenac Chamber of Commerce

at the Chamber's Business Expo at Frontenac Plaza.

October 30, 2011 Fall/Halloween Concert

Kirby Ann Kay wowed the audience with Vivaldi's Fall from the Four Seasons.

The Orchestra rose to the challenge of accompanying Kirby!

Dr. Chiann-Yi Yawitz is congratulated by David Peek on her terrific performance
of Strauss's Burlesque.

Light refreshments were graciously served during intermission.

The Orchestra members all wore Halloween costumes!

October 15, 2011 Meadows Mall Pops Concert

The Town & Country Symphony Orchestra
performed a pops concert on a delightful sunny afternoon
at Meadows Mall in Lake St Louis.

In spite of a warm breeze fluttering the sheets of music,
the Orchestra enjoyed performing for an enthusiastic audience.

September 16-18, 2011 GreenTree Fundraiser

Marcia Jones and David Peek open the booth to sell
soda and Gus's pretzels at Kirkwood's GreenTree Festival
to raise much-needed funds for the Orchestra.

The booth is set up, pretzels are ready, and soda is iced.

Les Kreader, Marcia Jones, Sondra Jacobs, and Nancy Pizzolato
get drenched in the pouring rain taking down the booth and tent on Sunday.

September 11, 2011 Opening Concert

Kirby Anne Kay and the TCSO
performed Vivaldi's Concerto No. 2 in G Minor, Op.8,
"Summer" from The Four Seasons.

Kirby Anne Kay performed from memory!

Kirby delighted the audience with "Summer"
on a beautiful summer afternoon.

A young member of the audience, nephew of one of our violinists,
was fascinated by Kirby and the Orchestra on the big screen
in the lobby of Ridgway Auditorium.

After the concert, Kirby is congratulated by Dennis Yeh
and his family as well as by her mom
on her brilliant performance of "Summer".
The concert was sponsored by Dennis's St Louis School of Music.

During intermission, punch and cookies were graciously offered
by Michelle Kilper, Mary Beauchamp, Ron Diebold and Carman Diebold.

June 25, 2011 Fire & Ice Pops Concert

Signs at major intersections let folks know about
Town & Country's annual event.

A large crowd gathered on the natural, grassy amphitheater at
Town & Country Crossing to hear The Star Spangled Banner,
God Bless America, Battle Hymn of the Republic,
The Wizard of Oz, Harry Potter Selections,
Danzas Cubanas, Star Wars Selections, and more!

Featherstone Band Soloists, Camille Marlof and Mike McEnery, joined the Orchestra for I Will Survive, I'm a Believer, and Sweet Caroline.

...and then the storm clouds split and went north and south of the event -
and the rain held off until after the fireworks!

With ominous storm clouds lurking noth and south of us,
the fireworks were started early,
and they were still spectacular!

January 28, 2011 T&C's Art, Wine & Music Event
at Longview Farm Park.

TCSO's String Quartet, Beth Schmiedeke, Jennifer Siemek,
David Holy, and John Kilper, delighted the attendees with their music
and even did requests for some dancing!

October 7, 2010 MO Baptist's Holiday Open House

John Kilper, David Holy, Monica Holy, and Beth Schmiedeke
delighted the attendees of Missouri Baptist Medical Center's
Holiday Open House at the Longview Fark Park House.

September 17-19, 2010 Green Tree Festival

David Peek handed out Concert Season schedules
at the Orchestra's fund-raising booth
at Kirkwood's Green Tree Festival.

Natasha Bange, Brian Bange, and Kevin Huckshold
sold sodas, water and pretzels
to help raise funds for the Orchestra.

Doug McDougall brought an expresso coffee machine to help the cause.

September 12, 2010 Opening Concert

Kevin Huckshold delighted the audience and his mom
with Mendelssohn's Piano Concerto #2, receiving standing ovations!


And don't forget the refreshments ladies,
Mary Beauchamp, Abby Lee, and Chiann Yi Yawitz,
who served cookies and punch during intermission.

After the concert, a drummer-in-training
tried his hand at the bass drum.
His mom plays viola with the Orchestra.

June 26, 2010 Fire & Ice

The Town and Country Symphony Orchestra performed at Town & Country's annual Fire & Ice event in 95 degree weather.
