Highlights of the 2009-2010
Concert Season

February 14, 2010 Valentine Concert

The Orchestra's Valentine's Concert featured Jeff Lindhorst, Concertmaster, brilliantly performing Beethoven's Romance in F for Violin and Orchestra, Op. 50, to a standing-room-only crowd at Parkway United Church of Christ.

The Orchestra's Flute Section was also featured, with Wendy Green, Caroline Diebold and Leona Ernst, Principal, performing Doppler's Andante and Rondo for Flutes and Orchestra, Op 25.

December 13, 2009 Holiday Concert

The Orchestra's Holiday Concert featured Marlissa Hudson performing many holiday favorites including Rejoice Greatly, O Daughter of Zion; Ave Maria; Gesu Bambino; O Holy Night; White Christmas and Joy to the World.

After the concert, Marlissa Hudson's Mom congratulates Marlissa on her splendid performance to a packed house.

October 25, 2009 Halloween Concert

The Orchestra's Halloween Concert featured Chiann-Yi Yawitz performing Rachmaninov's Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini.

October 17, 2009 T&C Fall Festival

 

The Orchestra had a table at Town & Country's annual Fall Festival
and David interviewed a young man who wants to be a conductor!

September 19-21, 2009 GreenTree Fund-Raising

The Orchestra sold Gus's pretzels, soda and lemonade at Kirkwood's GreenTree Festival to raise much-needed funds.

September 13. 2009 Opening Concert

The Orchestra's Opening Concert featured Ingrid Popp performing Max Bruch's Romanze in F Major for Viola and Orchestra.

June 27, 2009 Fire & Ice

The Town and Country Symphony Orchestra performed at Town & Country's annual Fire & Ice event in 98 degree weather.
