TCSO is proud to announce our 2026/27 season. Once again, we will begin with a concert showcasing women in music, with works by, for, and about women. At the top of this bill is Fantasia on Welsh Nursery Tunes by Grace Williams, an important and under-appreciated British composer. The Fantasia links eight Welsh tunes into a wistful tapestry, using harp and percussion to add a more distinctly Welsh flavor. Also on the program is Hubert Perry’s Lady Radnor’s Suite, which Radnor herself conducted, and Rising Talents medalist Zoe Baldwin, Mozart’s Overture to Cosi fan Tutte, and the delayed performance of Lady J’s “Hide-Away.” The series continues with our Halloween concert, featuring Thoams Pandolfi playing Liszt’s Totentanz and a new work by John Meurer: On a Dark and Windy Night. Also featured are vocalists Nini Wang and Edwin Erwin with selections from Lloyd-Weber’s Phantom of the Opera. You can catch this concert at the St. Louis Art Museum’s Ferrel Auditorium at 7:00 pm on Friday, October 23rd, or back at Principia’s Ridgway Auditorium at 2:30 pm Sunday October 25th. Our December Holiday Concert will likewise appear both at SLAM Friday December 18th and at Principia on Sunday December 20th. On March 14th of 2027 TCSO is pleased to welcome guest conductor Sebastian Buhts, who will present Ravel’s Mother Goose Suite and Schubert’s “Unfinished” symphony. On April 18th TCSO will present a special concert called Viva the Baroque and Classicsat Kirkwood’s St. Peter Catholic Church, where we will perform Vivaldi’s Gloria with full choir. We will conclude the season on May 23rd with Frank’s Symphony in D Minor.

Thanks to the generous support of our audience, our musicians, the Regional Arts Commission of St. Louis, and the public support of the Missouri Arts Council, a state agency, we are able to make our concerts free. Seating is open and no tickets are required.
